Using Differentiated Instruction to Support All Learners, by Júlia Torres :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOPe_cJ67No

This video is about a fact that is currently everywhere: Diversity

I want to share it because at schools there are students that come with a wide range of interest and abilities, so I think is important to expand our knowledge on this subject.

The video focuses on the idea that students learn at different rates and in many different ways, that is "Differentiated instructions".

So, differentiated is treated as a key element; its means shaking up what goes on in the classroom so that students have multiple opportunities to explore concepts, make sense of ideas and demonstrate what they know and understand.

The video also explains the teacher's role, for example provide material and learning tasks at different levels of challenge. Moreover, there are some points that are alse treated, suach as:
- The physical space organization in class
- What learning resources are used
- How instructions are planned and delivered
- How students learning is assessed

This method is looks very different in every learning environment, so, I encourage you to take a look and I challenge you to put it into practice!

Enjoy the video.
Kisses.
